Darling Bugs of May Study Day IPS Trent 2020 – 14th May 2020
28 January 2020
‘The year 2020 is Florence Nightingale’s Bicentenary year. Nightingale was born in the Italian city that she was named after, on May 12, 1820. But while she was still a baby, her parents moved to the village of Lea in Derbyshire. Florence Nightingale is remembered as the founder of modern nursing, but she was so much more; a female icon in her own lifetime, a healthcare pioneer, an influential statistician, a trailblazer and a leader. And her legacy still lives on today.
In May 2020 the Trent Branch of the Infection Prevention Society are running their annual spring study day ‘’Return to Scutari’ Infection prevention: The past, present and future.
