In light of the current Covid-19 situation a decision had been taken to cancel all face to face, non-essential training due to take place during the next 12 weeks.  LSCDG will continue to review the situation and where possible will utilise alternative digital methods of training delivery

Free Mental Capacity Act (MCA) Training via Zoom

The Leicester Leicestershire and Rutland Safeguarding Adults Boards are offering free Mental Capacity Act (MCA) Training with the aim of ensuring that staff have an understanding of the key areas prior to the role-out of Liberty Protection Safeguards (LPS). The first four course dates for January and February 2021 are now available to book. Please see attached flyer for further information on the course content, and available dates / times.

Spaces are limited to 25 per session which will be held virtually via Zoom. We will allocate spaces on a first come first serve basis.
