Non-compliance with the accessibility regulations

  • Some links are generic or have not been embedded behind unique and descriptive link text. These fail success criterion 2.4.4 (Link Purpose in Context – Level A).
  • Some headings on pages don’t utilise the correct headings or heading hierarchy. This fails success criterion 1.3.1 Info and Relationships (Level A).
  • Many PDF documents are not fully accessible to screen reader software.

We’re looking into resolving the above issues by 31 March 2027.

This statement was first prepared on 28 September 2020. It was last reviewed on 12 October 2026.

This website was last fully tested during September 2026. We did our own testing using the Silktide accessibility tool and NVDA screen reader. We also conducted manual testing exercises such as navigating using a keyboard and different zoom settings and screen sizes.

The pages we chose to test with Silktide and manually, included the wide range of functionality on the website as detailed below.
