AIMS and OBJECTIVES: Awareness
  • Understand reablement
  • Help Service Users to meet their goals
  • Think about the new approach to working differently
  • Think about report writing and how to keep records
  • Understand the importance of everyone working consistently
Train the Trainer
    • To develop networks with other organisations involved in the project
    • To develop the skills in your staff group to challenge poor practice and acknowledge and encourage good practice within the new way of working
    • To develop skills to motivate staff to work in a reablement way
    • To adopt different styles of delivery to facilitate learning
    • Think about what is a good and a bad training session
TARGET GROUP: This training will only be made available and given priority to those providers who have been successful in the bid for the HTLAH contract Awareness All staff, carers and care managers who will be involved in the Help to Live at Home project Train the Trainer Workers and managers who will be responsible for delivering reablement training within your own organisation
