 AIMS and OBJECTIVES: To raise awareness of Standard Precautions within Infection Control

• To demonstrate what is meant by the term ‘Standard Precautions’
• To review the principles of Standard Precautions
• To demonstrate a knowledge of the chain of infection and how the application of Standard Precautions can prevent cross infection to patients/ clients, staff and the environment
• To demonstrate how to safely remove contaminated PPE

TARGET GROUP: Managers and senior staff responsible for undertaking Health & Safety Risk Assessments Dates and venues available

 Times: 9:30 start and finish 12.30 – please arrive 15 minutes early for registration and refreshments.  Refreshments will be provided.   Lunch will NOT be provided,  For this course care providers will be invoiced at a flat rate of £15 per delegate, after the attendance. If delegates fail to attend, the establishment will be invoiced for the non-attendance rate of £50.
