Applications are invited for EITHER or BOTH of the above events (different programme at each event): Do you work with people who may lack capacity to make decisions? Do you support people to maximise their capacity and make their own decisions? Do you carry out capacity assessments and make best interest decisions? If so, you are invited to attend the MCA Knowledge Exchange

This is a new opportunity for practitioners in agencies throughout Leicestershire and Rutland to come together to share knowledge, best practice and dilemmas around the Mental Capacity Act in a safe, supportive, multi-agency environment. Each event will feature a guest speaker, case studies and opportunities for discussions with colleagues.

Please note: this event is not a training or awareness-raising session – delegates are expected to have significant working knowledge of the MCA and DOLS prior to attending. This should be gained through practice and experience, or by completing a specific e-learning package prior to attendance (details will follow in the confirmation email)
