Please see flyer for more details-Autism Awareness Cat B Aim: After attending Category B (enhanced) ASD training you will:
  • Understand the autism spectrum, the Triad of Impairments and associated issues
  • Recognise the variety and variability of presentations of ASD in different individuals
  • Possess some basic strategies for supporting adults on the autism spectrum
  • Know where to access further information and assistance in supporting adults with ASD
Target Group: Staff who have regular contact with adults on the autism spectrum Staff whose contact is limited but has high impact on outcomes for adults on the autism spectrum Staff who work alongside colleagues who are on the autism spectrum
