Run in partnership with The University of Derby, LSCDG are offering fully funded workshops to develop social care staff to become assessors of the recently introduced Care Certificate  Aim:

• To empower those assessing new starters to appropriately determine whether Care Certificate standards are being met
• To provide a safe and collaborative environment to gain a critical understanding of the required standards
• Workshops offer CPD opportunities, touching on varied topics such as tailored assessment and learning styles

1st & 14th July 2015 Delegates must attend both dates	NSPCC Centre, 3 Gilmour Close, Beaumont Leys, Leicester LE4 1EZ

 Times:  Arrive 9.15am for a 9:30am start and finish 4.30pm  Refreshments will be provided.   Lunch will NOT be provided There is no charge for this course Candidates will be required to attend both dates. If delegates fail to attend, the establishment will be invoiced for the non-attendance rate of £100 (if the course is more than a day then this will be £100 per day). Local Authority staff will be required to enter a COST CODE on the booking form, in the event of non-attendance your Department will be invoiced, therefore authorisation from your manager is required for you to attend this training.
