Audience: The course is designed for individuals who have already attended the one day 'LSCDG Understanding Behaviours that Challenge' course, who wish to gain a greater insight into the creation and implementation of a PBS
Support Plan.
Cost: £30 per delegate
Aims:
- Give information andsupportto produce a good qualitysupportplan for those who display behaviours of concern.
- Introduce the PBS audit tool and explore how to embed this into the workplace
Outcome:
Identify the core elements and features of Positive Behaviour Support
Understand your role in relation to PBS and support planning within your organisation
Know how to collect data and measure outcomes
Understand person centred planning, that under pins PBS
Know what to include in a good quality support plan.
To fully participate in this course and to enable you to complete a Positive Behaviour Support Plan you must identify a person whom you support and get their permission to discuss their case and paperwork during the course. You must bring:
- Their Person Centred Plan (e.g. Communication passports, My life story books, Good days/Bad days)
- Any relevant Risk assessments
- Existing behaviour support plans
Course Times: Arrive 9.00am for a 9:30 start and finish 4.30pm
