Aim

Welcome to the Safeguarding Adults in Social Care e-learning you will learn to understand the essential role of safeguarding people. It covers the main types of abuse, how to recognise abuse, the main symptoms and signs to be alert to and what makes an individual vulnerable to abuse.

This course should take approximately 30 minutes and consists of e-learning, quiz, resources, evaluation and a certificate of completion. You will have to complete all parts of the course and score over 80 % in the quiz to obtain your certificate.
