   (Two day course)

£30 per delegate

Signalong is the Signing system used in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland Adult Learning disability services. It is a key word Signing system for people with Learning disabilities. Aim: This two day Foundation course will enable you to:
  • Read and perform signs effectively.
  • Use Signing within your working environment
  • Using total communication when working with people with communication difficulties
Use total communication when working with people with Learning and communication difficulties. Target Group: All staff working with people with Learning Disabilities. Dates and venues available

18th & 25th November 2015 Salvation Army, South Wigston 12
 Times: Arrive 9.15am for a 9:30 start and finish 4.00pm   Refreshments will be provided.   Lunch will NOT be provided For this course care providers will be invoiced at a flat rate of £30 per delegate, after the attendance. If delegates fail to attend, the establishment will be invoiced for the non-attendance rate of £100 per person. Local Authority staff will be required to enter a COST CODE on the booking form, in the event of non-attendance your Department will be invoiced, therefore authorisation from your manager is required for you to attend this training.
