AIMS and OBJECTIVES:- To have a greater understanding of why and what we record. To practise record-keeping and scrutiny/evaluation of these records through in-session observations.
- To become more familiar with historical and current drivers around record-keeping (legislation, national and local policy and guidance, inspection standards, serious case inquiries)
- To review what makes a good record – what are the standards involved in recording well.
- To critically review some real care records and discuss how they could be improved.
